Website intake
A website acknowledgement or Blue Ridge request number confirms receipt only. It is not a quote, purchase order, promise of availability, repair authorization, pickup confirmation, engineering approval, or vendor order.
Critical outages
Website requests are reviewed by a Blue Ridge person during shop hours. For a line-down condition, submit what you have and also call 540-662-8463 so a person hears it directly. Emergency and after-hours response begins when Blue Ridge confirms it.
Customer information and authorization
The requestor is responsible for providing accurate equipment, site, safety, access, billing, and authorization information and for having the right to share submitted files. Material specifications must be confirmed before they are used for an order, substitution, or final scope.
Quotes, vendors, and changes
Work proceeds only under an accepted quote, purchase order, contract, emergency exception, or other documented authorization. Availability, lead time, freight, taxes, and vendor information may change until confirmed. Blue Ridge may coordinate trusted repair or supply partners, but no vendor order is authorized solely by website submission.
Pickup, field work, and plant responsibility
Pickup, delivery, removal, installation, electrical work, controls work, and site access require separate confirmation of scope, schedule, safety conditions, and responsibility. The plant retains authority for lockout/tagout, operational safety, engineering acceptance, and return to service unless a signed agreement states otherwise.
Job-specific terms control
An accepted quote, purchase order, master agreement, vendor warranty, or other signed job document may contain additional or different terms. Those job-specific documents control to the extent of a conflict with this website notice.

Blue Ridge Electric Service is an independently owned Virginia business. It is not affiliated with, and does not represent, any other company that has used the Blue Ridge name. Contracts, invoices, and job records are issued in the name of Blue Ridge Electric Service.
